Campus Visits! Art! Science! Drama! The Environment! and more!

The GOALS activities involve a huge range of subjects for pupils from primary 6 to secondary 6.

All these activities are designed to help pupils increase their confidence and aspirations and  to build skills for key transition stages.

Whatever stage pupils are at all the GOALS activities are educational, fun and engaging!

 

S2 visit to Paisley University

 

The purpose of the visit to Paisley University was to allow S2 pupils to have an enjoyable hands-on experience of modern Science and Engineering at work outside their school.  This year students made different types of slime, looked at superconductors and liquid nitrogen, made light sticks in a test tube, extracted DNA, measured the jump of locusts and panned for gold. 

Mrs Wyllie, Ms Steele and Mr Tickner accompanied the pupils on the visit.  Both pupils and staff enjoyed the day.
